The best semiconductor deals move fast and quietly.
The Hub helps you see them sooner.
Funding and M&A tracked live, markets and policy coverage, and a structured map of the companies behind the deals.

Lifecycles for you
The chip lifecycles that the training plan for Investors draws on most. Each one sets out its stages, the gates that check them and the work handed over.
- Fabless startup chip lifecycle →A new fabless company's first chip, from the problem and market thesis and the founding team through a proof of concept in simulation and on an FPGA prototype, pre-seed and seed funding, architecture and partner selection, and a test chip on a shuttle, to evaluation with design partners, a Series A and product silicon, qualification and first revenue, and scale-up. Funding gates sit beside the engineering gates.15 stages, 27 gates
- Product lifecycle →The business lifecycle of a semiconductor product, from the first sign of a market opportunity through concept, definition, development, validation, sampling, qualification, launch, ramp, maturity and decline to end of life and the support that continues after the last shipment. The engineering lifecycles run inside it.13 stages, 31 gates
- SoC and full-chip lifecycle →The whole chip, from its specification through IP integration, full-chip design and verification, tape-out, bring-up and qualification to production and end of life.15 stages, 22 gates
- Fab build and equipment qualification lifecycle →A semiconductor fab, or a new phase of one, from the business case and technology choice through site selection, permits and incentives, facility design, construction, cleanroom and facility systems, tool procurement, installation and qualification, process transfer and first wafers to the yield and capacity ramp, operations and continuous improvement, and expansion or end of life. The output is a qualified factory running customer wafers.12 stages, 20 gates

What the Hub brings
A map of the industry you are investing in, with the evidence visible and the conclusions left to you.
The value chain, annotated
Eight segments: fabless, foundry, IDM, EDA, IP, packaging and test, equipment and materials, memory. Each carries notes on margin, capital intensity and moat, so you know where value sits.
The metrics that matter, explained
Gross margin, capex to sales, book-to-bill, utilisation, design wins, yield and customer concentration, each in plain words with what a good or bad reading looks like.
The cycle in four stages
From upswing to trough, with the signals that show where the industry stands now. Read it before you read a quarterly headline.
Funding items on company profiles
Funding and deal announcements are tied to the company profile they concern, so the history of a company sits on one page.
A public companies index
Listed semiconductor companies with ticker, exchange and country, sortable by market cap. Each cap is a dated snapshot with its source, not a live quote.
Where a dependency is concentrated
The supply chain explorer maps single- and few-supplier chokepoints. It is an illustrative map built on public knowledge today, not a sourced risk assessment, and it says so.
Follow, watch and be alerted
Follow companies and markets, and keep a watchlist of companies you track. Target markets are ranked on published criteria, with the score history visible.
VC Connect for opt-in deal flow
Apply as a verified investor to browse startup funding profiles that founders chose to share, shortlist them, and request an introduction. Contact details pass only if the founder accepts.
Not investment advice
This is stated on the pages that need it. The Hub makes no stock picks and gives no recommendation to raise, accept or refuse an offer.
Sources you can open
Figures link to their sources and carry a date. Check the original before you rely on a number.
Introductions are never sold
A founder must accept before an investor sees contact details, and nothing on the Hub is brokered for a fee.
