Lifecycles for you
The chip lifecycles that the training plan for Event organisers draws on most. Each one sets out its stages, the gates that check them and the work handed over.
- Product lifecycle →The business lifecycle of a semiconductor product, from the first sign of a market opportunity through concept, definition, development, validation, sampling, qualification, launch, ramp, maturity and decline to end of life and the support that continues after the last shipment. The engineering lifecycles run inside it.13 stages, 31 gates
- SoC and full-chip lifecycle →The whole chip, from its specification through IP integration, full-chip design and verification, tape-out, bring-up and qualification to production and end of life.15 stages, 22 gates
- Fabless startup chip lifecycle →A new fabless company's first chip, from the problem and market thesis and the founding team through a proof of concept in simulation and on an FPGA prototype, pre-seed and seed funding, architecture and partner selection, and a test chip on a shuttle, to evaluation with design partners, a Series A and product silicon, qualification and first revenue, and scale-up. Funding gates sit beside the engineering gates.15 stages, 27 gates
- Fab build and equipment qualification lifecycle →A semiconductor fab, or a new phase of one, from the business case and technology choice through site selection, permits and incentives, facility design, construction, cleanroom and facility systems, tool procurement, installation and qualification, process transfer and first wafers to the yield and capacity ramp, operations and continuous improvement, and expansion or end of life. The output is a qualified factory running customer wafers.12 stages, 20 gates

What the Hub brings
Submit an event, take registrations and run the day from one place. This is what you can do today.
One form to list your event
Give a title, type, format, dates, timezone, location, topics, target markets and a link to your own event page. You can host it as yourself or as a company you represent.
A person reviews it first
Every submission is reviewed before it appears on the calendar. Nothing goes live unchecked, and duplicates are merged.
Listed beside every other series
Your event sits on one calendar next to the industry's event series. Visitors can filter by type and format, with no account.
Recurring events in one go
Choose a cadence and the form submits this edition plus the next three occurrences, reviewed together.
Registration, capacity and a waitlist
Turn on registration through the Hub and set a capacity. Once it is full, the event page shows that the waitlist is open.
A dashboard for the day
See confirmed and waitlisted counts, check people in one by one, and for online events set the stream link and open the room for a tech check.
Message your registrants
Send a note to the people registered for your event. After the event, see how many were checked in, how many joined the room and how many questions came in.
Share the recording
Publish a recording link and choose who can watch: anyone, signed-in members, or only people who registered. It appears in the recordings library.
What changes for you
You post the event on several sites and chase each one.
One reviewed submission puts it on the calendar where engineers and company teams look.
Registrations live in a spreadsheet and a separate ticket tool.
Registration, the waitlist and check-in sit on one organiser page for your event.
Reminders and follow-ups are a manual mail merge.
You can message everyone registered from the same page.
The recording disappears into a shared drive.
Publish it to the recordings library with the access level you choose.
Reviewed, not auto-listed
Every event is reviewed before it shows. The calendar is ordered by date, and money does not change the order.
What the numbers cover
Your after-event view counts registrations, check-ins, room joins and questions. It is not a full audience report. Paid tickets are switched on for an event by the Hub team, not by you, so do not plan around them.
Choosing this page changes only where you start
Picking an audience changes where you begin and nothing else. Nobody is shown who chose what.
