Lifecycles for you
The chip lifecycles that the training plan for Trainers and content creators draws on most. Each one sets out its stages, the gates that check them and the work handed over.
- SoC and full-chip lifecycle →The whole chip, from its specification through IP integration, full-chip design and verification, tape-out, bring-up and qualification to production and end of life.15 stages, 22 gates
- Product lifecycle →The business lifecycle of a semiconductor product, from the first sign of a market opportunity through concept, definition, development, validation, sampling, qualification, launch, ramp, maturity and decline to end of life and the support that continues after the last shipment. The engineering lifecycles run inside it.13 stages, 31 gates
- Test program and ATE development lifecycle →The manufacturing test of a chip, from the test strategy and DFT alignment while the chip is specified, through the test plan, probe cards, load boards and sockets, pattern generation and conversion and a test program built before silicon, to first silicon debug and correlation, characterisation and limit setting, test time reduction and release to production, then yield and test data monitoring, maintenance and end of life.12 stages, 20 gates
- Soft IP lifecycle →One reusable block delivered as synthesisable design code (soft IP), made in-house or taken in from a supplier, from its specification through design, verification, implementation views and quality checks to a versioned release for SoC teams.8 stages, 10 gates
- AI-assisted design flow adoption lifecycle →Adopting one AI-assisted step into a chip design flow, from identifying the use case and piloting it on a bounded design through qualifying the tool against a known reference design, reviewing what data leaves the company and on what licence terms, integrating it into the controlled flow and defining who reviews and signs off its outputs, to deployment, monitoring for drift and errors, requalification after updates, and retirement or replacement. The output is a qualified, governed flow step with named human accountability.12 stages, 17 gates

What the Hub brings
Here is what you can do on the Hub today if you teach the industry or write about it.
Author a course
Create a course, add lessons and save it as a draft. When it is ready, submit it for review. Rejected drafts come back with the reason, so you can fix them and resubmit.
See how learners use it
Each course has its own analytics page, so you can check how it is being used. Edit the course at any time from your course list.
Get paid for paid courses
Set up payout details on one page. It shows your balance, your verification status and your statement history. Set it up before a sale: a sale made before that is not added to your balance afterwards.
Contribute an article
Guest posts, field reports and campus writing are welcome. Save a draft as often as you like. Editors see it only when you submit, and it is published with your byline.
Track your submissions
A page lists everything you have contributed and where each piece stands in review. Nothing goes live without an editor reading it first.
Sell a digital product
If you are an approved expert, you can also list downloadable products on your profile, such as a guide or a template pack. Buyers pay at checkout and download from your page.
Teach live at an event
Submit a webinar, a meetup or a training day to the events calendar. It is reviewed before it appears, and signed-in members can submit one.
Reach readers on the boards
Boards are where learners and engineers ask questions. Answering well in public sends people to your courses and articles.
What changes for you
Your course sits on a platform that does not know the chip industry.
Your course sits on a site built around semiconductors, next to the topics your learners already follow.
Guest posts go into an inbox and you never hear back.
You submit through one form, see the status of every piece, and get a byline when it runs.
You collect payments and split them by hand.
Paid courses run through checkout, and your payouts page shows each statement.
You find out about your audience from comments.
Each course has its own analytics page.
Instructor access is granted, not self-served
The course tools open for accounts that an admin has given the instructor role. Without it, the course page sends you back to the home page. Articles and events only need a free account.
Creator tools stop at courses and articles
There are no newsletter, podcast or video tools yet. Today you can author courses, contribute articles, list events and, if approved, sell digital products.
Everything is reviewed, and this page is only a view
Courses, articles and events are all read by a person before they go live. Choosing this page changes your starting links and nothing else, and nobody is shown who chose it.
