Responsibilities

Project

Work done for a product or program.

Assemble the safety case structure with claims, arguments and evidence links across all lifecycle phases.
Author and maintain the safety manual, including safety mechanism usage constraints and assumptions of use for the integrator.
Compile verification and validation evidence summaries mapped to each hardware safety requirement.
Maintain the work product index and its configuration baselines per ISO 26262-8 clauses on documentation and configuration management.
Run completeness and consistency checks across requirements, analyses and test reports before confirmation reviews.
Prepare assessor-ready evidence packages and respond to external assessment information requests.
Redact and repackage internal evidence into customer-shareable safety packages without leaking proprietary design data.
Track open safety issues and deviations, documenting rationale for each accepted deviation.
Update the safety case for derivative devices, mask revisions and process changes.
