Post-Silicon Test & Bring-Up Engineer

• Execute the first-silicon bring-up sequence on the tester and bench, from power-on and IDCODE readback through scan chain integrity to full pattern execution.
• Debug scan chain failures using chain integrity patterns, chain masking and shift-frequency shmoo to isolate broken or blocked chains.
• Correlate silicon pattern failures against gate-level simulation to separate design bugs, pattern bugs, tester setup issues and real defects.
• Run voltage, frequency and temperature shmoo plots on structural patterns to establish operating margin and identify marginal paths.
• Drive scan diagnosis on failing units and coordinate physical failure analysis requests with the FA lab.
• Bring up MBIST, LBIST and IJTAG instruments on first silicon and verify signatures against simulation-derived golden values.
• Work on the bench with oscilloscopes, protocol analysers and FPGA-based debug rigs when tester visibility is insufficient.
• Publish daily bring-up status with issue lists, workarounds and metal-fix recommendations during the critical first-silicon window.
• Define and validate silicon workarounds and test-mode patches that unblock the programme without a respin.
• Transfer the stabilised structural test content to the production test program team with known-issue documentation.
