Memory Applications Engineer

Project

• Support customer designs with memory selection guidance, part-number configuration and platform compatibility assessment.
• Review customer schematics, DIMM and board layouts, decoupling and termination schemes and provide signal integrity feedback.
• Debug customer bring-up failures — training failures, CRC or ECC errors, hangs, thermal throttling — on the customer's platform and in the lab.
• Interpret datasheet parameters, mode register settings and derating tables for customer engineering teams.
• Run interoperability and validation testing of company memory on customer reference platforms and major CPU and SoC platforms.
• Drive customer failure escalations into product engineering and reliability, tracking analysis to closure with 8D discipline.
• Produce application notes, reference designs, simulation models and training material for customers and field teams.
• Feed customer requirements, roadmap needs and competitive intelligence into product planning and architecture.
• Support design-win pursuit with technical presentations, sample coordination and qualification support at the account.
• Conduct thermal and power budget reviews for high-density module or HBM deployments in the customer's chassis.
