IP Configurator Software Engineer

• Develop and maintain the IP configuration engine that validates parameter combinations, enforces legality rules and rejects illegal configurations with actionable errors.
• Build the configurator GUI and command-line interfaces used by customers, and keep both behaviourally identical.
• Design the configuration database schema and versioning so a customer configuration can be reproduced years later against the original IP version.
• Integrate the configurator with SoC assembly tooling and IP-XACT-based flows such as Arm Socrates and internal SoC generators.
• Package and license-gate the delivered configurator, integrating with the entitlement, node-locked licensing and encryption infrastructure.
• Debug customer configurator failures across operating systems, Python/Java versions and site environments, and ship patched releases.
• Refactor legacy Perl and TCL generation flows toward maintainable Python or Java code without breaking existing customer configurations.

• Implement code generation for RTL, constraints, UPF, testbench wrappers, C headers and documentation from templated and IP-XACT-described sources.
• Automate regression of the configuration space, sampling or exhaustively sweeping legal parameter sets and running build/lint/simulate checks in CI.
