IP Field Application Engineer

Project

• Lead pre-sales technical evaluations, running benchmarks and proving PPA, feature fit and configuration options against customer requirements.
• Answer customer architecture and integration questions on clocking, power, DFT, floorplan, firmware and protocol behaviour during the design-in phase.
• Reproduce and triage customer-reported issues in the customer's flow and tool versions, isolating IP defects from integration mistakes.
• Run on-site or remote integration workshops, training customer design and software teams on configuration, bring-up and debug.
• Support customer tape-out reviews, checking that the IP is instantiated, constrained and hardened according to the integration guide.
• Support post-silicon bring-up at the customer, working their lab data alongside internal validation engineers to close link and calibration issues.
• Capture and prioritise customer feature and node-port requests for product management with business justification attached.
• Build and maintain reference designs, application notes and evaluation kits tailored to key accounts and market segments.
• Act as escalation manager during customer crises, coordinating engineering response, communicating status and owning the resolution commitment.
