Automotive Qualification Engineer

• Own the AEC-Q100 qualification matrix across Grade 0 to Grade 3 temperature grades and select the applicable test groups.
• Execute and manage stress groups including HTOL, PTC, HAST, ELFR, EDR, PC, THB, ESD-HBM/CDM, latch-up, SER and gate-oxide characterisation.
• Assemble the PPAP submission package including control plans, process flow diagrams, MSA and capability studies for automotive customers.
• Interpret and satisfy OEM-specific requirements from VW, Stellantis, GM, Toyota and Tier-1 customers beyond the AEC baseline.
• Run zero-defect and PPM reduction programmes including Part Average Testing, Statistical Bin Limits and Good-Die-in-Bad-Neighbourhood screening.
• Coordinate change management through PCN and requalification assessment when process, package or fab site changes occur.
• Host automotive customer and IATF 16949 audits and defend the qualification evidence and data integrity.
• Drive 8D closure for automotive field returns with containment, root cause and permanent corrective action within customer deadlines.

• Support functional safety work by supplying base failure rates, permanent and transient fault data into FMEDA for ISO 26262 metrics.
