OpenAccess
An open C++ API and database standard for IC design data, managed by Si2, that lets multiple tools operate on the same logical, schematic and physical representation without translation.
It underpins interoperability between Cadence and third-party custom tools.

Cadence contributed the original database in 2002, and Virtuoso has used OpenAccess natively since version IC5.
