Dynamic IR drop
Instantaneous supply droop caused by simultaneous switching current drawn through grid resistance and inductance, analysed with real or vectorless activity over time.
It is the drop that actually limits clock frequency.

Notes
Worst droop typically occurs on clock edges or at the end of a clock-gating idle period when large banks wake at once.
