Silicon Errata and Documentation Engineer

Project

• Own the errata process end to end from bug acceptance through impact assessment, wording, review board approval and publication.
• Write errata entries specifying the exact conditions, observed behaviour, functional and system impact, affected steppings and workaround.
• Chair or facilitate the errata review board with design, validation, firmware, legal, marketing and applications engineering.
• Classify errata severity and disclosure level and determine what is published publicly versus under NDA to specific customers.
• Maintain the datasheet, reference manual and register description documents against measured silicon and approved specification changes.
• Generate register documentation from the single-source register description language and keep IP-XACT/SystemRDL sources synchronised with RTL.
• Track workaround implementation status across firmware, drivers, BSPs and application notes and confirm each is real before publication.
• Manage document revision control, change history and stepping-specific document variants across the product family.
• Support applications and field engineering with clear technical answers on documented and undocumented behaviour.
