• Extract compact model parameters for MOSFETs, bipolars, HEMTs, diodes, resistors, capacitors and inductors using BSIM-CMG, BSIM4, HiCUM, MEXTRAM or ASM-HEMT.
• Define and order the DC, CV, RF and noise measurement matrix on test structures across geometry, temperature and bias.
• Build statistical model sets — corner, Monte Carlo, mismatch and local variation — and validate them against measured wafer distributions.
• Develop RF and high-frequency models including substrate networks, de-embedding structures and S-parameter-based extraction up to mmWave.
• Develop reliability and ageing models (HCI, NBTI/PBTI, TDDB, electromigration) usable in MOSRA or Legato flows.
• Model layout-dependent effects such as stress/LOD, well proximity and self-heating and expose them correctly in the PDK.
• Write Verilog-A models for novel or non-standard devices and validate convergence and speed in production simulators.
• Verify model quality gates: continuity, derivative smoothness, convergence robustness, simulator-to-simulator consistency and QA regression.
• Support designers in debugging model-related simulation anomalies and mismatch between simulation and measured silicon.
• Release and document model libraries with version control, release notes and known-limitation lists as part of the PDK.
