• Negotiate and maintain quality agreements with foundries, OSATs and contract manufacturers covering process control, change notification, excursion reporting and material traceability obligations.
• Plan and lead supplier quality audits against ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485 and customer-specific requirements, tracking findings to closure.
• Review and disposition supplier process change notifications, deciding requalification scope and driving downstream customer PCN where the change is visible to customers.
• Lead excursion and spill response with partners, enforcing containment, lot purging, sub-lot traceability and 8D root cause closure within agreed timelines.
• Monitor supplier quality performance through scorecards covering defective parts per million, excursion count, on-time 8D closure, audit findings and CAPA effectiveness.
• Approve deviations and concessions for material that falls outside the process of record, documenting risk assessment and customer notification requirements.
• Drive statistical outlier screening adoption at partner sites including Part Average Testing, Statistical Bin Limits, Good Die in Bad Neighbourhood and zonal screening.
• Manage the returned material authorisation flow into partner failure analysis labs and ensure findings feed back into partner process controls.
• Maintain approved supplier lists, qualification status records and quality system certification currency for all external manufacturing partners.
