Forecasts and track record
Who forecast what, and when they said it. Each forecast is kept as a dated vintage that is never overwritten, so a change of mind shows as a new row beside the old one. The Hub's own projections are frozen before the outcome is known and graded when it arrives, including the ones that were wrong.
ForecastThese are industry projections, not data and not investment advice.

Our track record
No projection has been frozen yet, so this record supports no conclusion about forecasting at all.
Matured projections are graded within 30 days of their period ending, hits and misses alike.
Forecast vintages
Work in progress
Work in progress: no forecast has been captured yet
What belongs here: Third-party forecasts of semiconductor quantities: the organisation, the date it published, the exact quantity and period, the figure or range, its stated method and its source. A revised forecast becomes a further vintage beside the first.
Who can add to it: Hub editors capture each forecast from the organisation's own publication. Know of a forecast worth capturing? Send it in with its link and date.
Claims of seeing something early
The Hub makes a claim like this only with its dated ledger row and the outside coverage it is compared with, all listed here together so the pattern can be checked rather than one good story.
No such claim has been made.
