Trusted Platform Module (TPM) / ISO/IEC 11889 is maintained by Trusted Computing Group (TCG), ratified as ISO/IEC 11889. The current version is TPM 2.0. The register lists it as active. The specification is openly available.
The specification for a dedicated, tamper-resistant hardware security chip (or firmware equivalent) that generates and guards cryptographic keys, measures boot integrity, and anchors platform trust — required by modern PC platform certifications and increasingly integrated directly into SoCs rather than shipped as a discrete chip.
