Verification Compute and Regression Infrastructure Engineer

• Build and operate the regression framework that submits, monitors, retries and reports on tens of thousands of simulation jobs per night.
• Manage compute grid scheduling on LSF, Slurm or cloud batch services, tuning queues, priorities and fair-share policies across projects.
• Implement continuous integration gates that run smoke and targeted regressions on every RTL and testbench commit before merge.
• Instrument the regression pipeline with telemetry on runtime, memory footprint, queue wait and failure category, and expose it in dashboards.
• Package and distribute EDA tool versions and environment modules so that every engineer runs a reproducible toolchain.
• Drive compute efficiency initiatives such as memory footprint reduction, simulation checkpointing and selective regression targeting.

• Monitor and optimise EDA licence utilisation, forecast licence demand, and negotiate peak-load strategies with the CAD and procurement teams.
• Operate hybrid cloud burst capacity on AWS or Azure for peak regression loads, including data staging, cost control and security compliance.
• Manage disk and storage lifecycle for waveform dumps, coverage databases and log archives with automated retention policies.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure-caused failures — job crashes, NFS timeouts, licence denials — and separate them from genuine design failures.
