• Design transmon, tunable coupler and resonator layouts with electromagnetic simulation.
• Fabricate Josephson junction devices using e-beam and optical lithography.
• Measure coherence times, gate fidelities and crosstalk in dilution refrigerators.
• Reduce two-level system loss and quasiparticle effects through materials work.
• Develop packaging, wiring and flip-chip integration for larger chips.
• Work with control electronics and software teams on calibration.
