Strategic Sourcing Manager (Wafers and Substrates)

• Develop and execute the category sourcing strategy for wafers, substrates, leadframes, bond wire, mould compound and backend services.
• Run competitive sourcing events including RFI, RFQ and reverse auction processes with clearly weighted award criteria.
• Negotiate master supply agreements, pricing schedules, capacity commitments, rebates, tooling ownership and liability clauses.
• Build should-cost and cost breakdown models covering silicon wafer cost, ABF substrate layer count, gold and copper content and test time.
• Track and negotiate raw material index pass-through for gold, copper, ABF resin and rare gases such as neon and helium.
• Execute annual and quarterly cost reduction programmes and report realised savings against plan with finance validation.
• Own contract lifecycle activities including renewals, amendments, claims and end-of-life supply assurance letters.
• Partner with legal on intellectual property, indemnity, export control and data protection terms in supply agreements.

• Manage supplier qualification and onboarding including financial health, capacity, quality system and conflict minerals compliance.
• Manage supplier consolidation, dual sourcing and regional footprint decisions to balance cost against resilience.
