Schematic Design Engineer

• Capture circuits from engineer markups, reference designs and datasheet application circuits into the schematic tool with consistent hierarchy and page structure.
• Create and validate schematic symbols against manufacturer datasheets including pin numbering, pin type, swap groups and mechanical pin mapping for BGAs and connectors.
• Run electrical rule checks and netlist comparisons to catch unconnected pins, power net conflicts, duplicate references and missing no-connects.
• Generate and reconcile the netlist and BOM exports that feed the layout tool, PLM and the contract manufacturer.
• Apply engineering change orders and markups across revisions with full traceability and correct revision blocks on every sheet.
• Enforce drafting standards for naming, net labels, off-page connectors, differential pair notation, title blocks and design notes.
• Prepare schematic review packages, capture reviewer comments page by page and track their disposition to closure.
• Support layout and manufacturing queries by resolving netlist-to-artwork mismatches and symbol or footprint discrepancies.

• Maintain the component library linkage so every symbol resolves to a footprint, a manufacturer part number and PLM item with correct attributes.
• Maintain reusable circuit blocks and design templates so common power, memory and interface circuits are not recaptured from scratch.
