Responsibilities

Project

Work done for a product or program.

Plan sample demand across validation, characterisation, reliability, firmware, marketing and lead customers for each stepping and corner lot.
Track every unit's genealogy from wafer and lot through assembly, binning, distribution and current physical custody.
Coordinate hot-lot expedites, split-lot assembly and corner-lot builds with the fab, OSAT and product engineering.
Manage export control, ITAR where applicable, customs documentation and secure shipment of pre-release silicon.
Run the bring-up and validation programme cadence including daily war-room stand-ups, blocker lists and follow-the-sun handovers.
Maintain the validation execution schedule against stepping-exit and product-release gates and escalate critical-path risks.
Manage pre-release sample agreements, NDAs and customer sample shipments with legal and sales operations.
Report programme status, sample availability and validation progress to executives and cross-functional stakeholders.

Typical backgrounds

BS in Engineering or Supply Chain with semiconductor exposure; 3–12 years in programme management, product engineering coordination or semiconductor operations.
