Responsibilities

Project

Work done for a product or program.

Assess parts against RoHS exemptions, REACH SVHC candidate list updates and SCIP notification duties.
Maintain halogen-free, antimony, PFAS and Proposition 65 declarations and respond to customer substance surveys.
Classify products for export control with ECCN determination under EAR, dual-use EU regulation and national control lists.
Determine HTS codes, country of origin and preferential origin eligibility for customs and free trade agreements.
Maintain IMDS and customer compliance portal submissions for automotive customers.

Function

Work that keeps the discipline running: methods, tools, suppliers and people.

Collect and validate full material declarations from foundries, OSATs and material suppliers against IEC 62474 and IPC-1752A formats.
Manage conflict minerals and extended minerals reporting using RMI CMRT and EMRT templates and smelter due diligence.
Screen restricted party lists and license requirements for controlled technology and destination combinations.
Monitor regulatory change across jurisdictions and assess impact on existing part numbers and roadmap.
Prepare compliance certificates, declarations of conformity and CE and UKCA documentation for modules and eval boards.
