Optical Module Test and NPI Engineer

Project

• Measure optical power, extinction ratio, eye mask, TDECQ and receiver sensitivity.
• Create DSP and firmware calibration flows over temperature and wavelength.
• Lead NPI builds, pilot runs and the move to contract manufacturers.
• Design test stations with BERTs, optical switches and scopes.
• Analyse yield and debug failures to laser, driver, DSP or assembly cause.
• Support compliance with IEEE 802.3 and MSA specifications.

Function

• Develop automated test of optical transceivers, including 400G and 800G pluggable modules.
