• Design channel estimation, equalization, MIMO detection and demodulation algorithms.
• Develop LDPC, polar and turbo decoding and HARQ algorithms.
• Develop synchronization, AGC and frequency and timing tracking algorithms.
• Run link-level simulations to verify BLER against 3GPP performance requirements.
• Convert floating-point algorithms to fixed-point implementations for hardware.
• Support hardware and DSP teams in algorithm mapping and verification.
• Debug PHY performance gaps seen in lab and field.
