• Select LDO topology (PMOS, NMOS, capless, digital) for dropout, PSRR and load transient targets.
• Design error amplifiers, pass devices and compensation networks.
• Analyse stability across load, output capacitance and temperature.
• Simulate PSRR, noise, line and load regulation across corners.
• Design current limit, thermal shutdown and soft-start protections.
• Coordinate layout for pass-device current density and thermal behaviour.
• Characterise silicon and write datasheet specifications.
