Internal Communications Manager (Engineering Organisation)

• Build and run the communications cadence for the engineering organisation: all-hands meetings, roadmap briefings, tapeout milestone announcements, and site town halls.
• Translate dense technical and strategic content — node transitions, platform consolidation, chiplet strategy — into clear messaging for engineering audiences.
• Manage change communications for reorganisations, site ramps, programme cancellations, and tool or methodology migrations.
• Coordinate crisis and sensitive communications with Legal, HR, and Security for incidents such as security breaches, safety events, or export-control matters.
• Publicise technical achievements internally — first silicon, yield milestones, patent awards, conference papers — to reinforce engineering culture.
• Partner with Corporate Communications and PR on embargoed product launches, ensuring internal readiness before external announcement.
• Measure communication reach, comprehension, and sentiment through pulse surveys and channel analytics, then adjust cadence and format.
• Localise and time messaging across Taiwan, India, Israel, Europe, Japan, and US sites, accounting for language and shift patterns.

Function

• Ghost-write and coach CTO, engineering VP, and fellow communications including strategy memos, blog posts, and internal technical keynotes.
• Run the internal channel portfolio: intranet, Slack or Teams communities, newsletters, digital signage in fabs, and shift-based communication for 24/7 operations.
