Instruction Set Simulator Engineer

Project

• Develop instruction set simulators for CPU and DSP cores in C++ or SystemC.
• Build SoC virtual platforms with peripheral models in QEMU, SystemC TLM or Simics.
• Verify simulator accuracy against RTL using lockstep co-simulation.
• Tune simulation speed for OS boot and large software workloads.
• Add new ISA extensions to the simulator in step with architecture changes.
• Support software teams with simulation debug features such as trace and checkpointing.
• Maintain model release packages and documentation.
