Fab Facilities and Ultrapure Utilities Engineer

Project

• Operate and improve ultrapure water production and distribution, controlling resistivity, TOC, particles, dissolved oxygen and boron.
• Own bulk and specialty gas systems including nitrogen, hydrogen, helium, argon and toxic gas delivery with purity and flow assurance.
• Manage chemical distribution systems, blending, day tanks and point-of-use delivery to process tools.
• Maintain cleanroom HVAC, makeup air, humidity, temperature and pressure control alongside contamination control engineering.
• Ensure electrical reliability through UPS, generator, switchgear and power quality management to prevent tool-damaging events.
• Operate process cooling water, chillers, vacuum and exhaust systems including acid, VOC and ammonia scrubbers.
• Plan and execute facility hook-up for new tool installs and fab expansion projects with minimal production risk.
• Drive energy, water and gas consumption reduction programmes supporting fab sustainability and cost-per-wafer targets.
• Maintain emergency response systems — gas detection, fire suppression, seismic and interlocks — and lead drills with EHS.

• Own abatement and wastewater treatment compliance, including PFAS, fluoride, copper, arsenic and greenhouse gas reduction.
