• Design role-based technical learning paths for RTL design, UVM verification, physical design, DFT, analog layout, process integration, and packaging.
• Build and maintain internal flow-onboarding courses on the company's proprietary design flow, PDK usage, regression infrastructure, and signoff criteria.
• Run reskilling programmes that move engineers into scarce areas such as chiplet integration, UCIe, formal verification, and AI-accelerator architecture.
• Establish and administer internal certification gates that qualify engineers to sign off tapeout checklists or operate cleanroom equipment.
• Measure learning effectiveness through on-the-job proficiency assessment, time-to-productivity, and defect/escape correlation rather than course completion alone.

Function

• Negotiate and manage vendor training contracts with Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens EDA, Arm, and ASML for tool-specific and equipment-specific certification programmes.
• Develop technical mentorship, fellow-led seminar series, and distinguished-engineer knowledge-transfer programmes to capture retiring expertise.
• Manage the LMS content lifecycle, translation, and site-specific compliance training including cleanroom protocol and chemical handling modules.
• Partner with Workforce Analytics to map skills inventory against roadmap demand and target training investment at the largest gaps.
• Govern the annual training budget across sites and justify spend against capability-gap and attrition-risk data.
