Datacenter Applications Engineer (Retimer and SerDes)

Project

• Support hyperscaler and ODM teams on PCIe, CXL and Ethernet retimer bring-up on server and accelerator boards.
• Run link-training, equalization and margin sweeps on customer platforms and tune retimer settings.
• Perform channel analysis and review board stack-up, connector and via design for 32G, 64G and 112G lanes.
• Debug link-up failures, error-rate issues and compliance failures with protocol analysers and BERTs.
• Support firmware, SDK and diagnostic tooling used by customers to manage retimer devices.
• Feed platform requirements and field failure data back to silicon and firmware teams.

Function

• Participate in interoperability events with root complex, switch and endpoint vendors.
