• Manage the CAD team across flows, PDKs, infrastructure and tools.
• Negotiate EDA contracts and vendor roadmaps with procurement.
• Decide on tool adoption, license and cloud strategy.
• Plan headcount, budget and compute capacity.
• Escalate critical vendor issues to executives.
