The frozen process definition for the shrink: what changes from the original memory process baseline, with the new targets, windows and controls.
Specification Work product in the Memory product lifecycle (DRAM, NAND and HBM)
The shrink design and its device models need a stable process target, just as the original product did. The shrink baseline records exactly what changed so that design, models and qualification all work to the same process. Without it, shrink lots vary, design targets move and qualification results cannot be relied on for the customer change notice.
