Customers must show that their own products meet substance regulations, and they depend on suppliers' declarations to do so. Accurate declarations are a condition of sale in many markets and a basis for customer quality agreements. Without them, customers cannot qualify or ship their products, and inaccurate declarations create legal and commercial exposure.
