Plan Work product in the Avionics and airborne electronics lifecycle and the Automotive SPICE process and assessment lifecycle
It ensures every work product is identified and controlled so that what was verified is what was delivered. In the avionics lifecycle it meets the DO-178C and DO-254 configuration management objectives at the rigour the assurance level requires; in the Automotive SPICE lifecycle it supports configuration, change and problem management. Without it, baselines are informal and changes cannot be traced.
