Analog circuits such as references, regulators, converters and clocks drift with temperature, ageing and radiation, and those shifts decide whether a space part works through its mission. The report gives measured evidence of that behaviour on real silicon. Without it, datasheet limits for analog parameters rest on simulation and missions may see out of specification behaviour late in life.
