Parts built on the production line, in the flight package and screened to the flight flow, start qualification to the agreed framework.
Qualification only counts if the parts are representative of what will fly. This gate checks that qualification lots were built on the frozen production flow, in the flight package, and screened to the approved flow, and that the plan covers every requirement of the framework.
It is also the point to check the quality system is ready for audits, because audits of the line and system often run during qualification.
