1. Purpose of the gate
This gate closes the IP quality checks stage. It confirms that every deliverable an integrator needs is present, consistent and backed by evidence, using the same checklist whatever the block's source. After this gate the set can be packaged for release without further technical change.
The gate also decides how to handle anything that is not perfect. A finding can be fixed before release, waived with a stated risk, or carried into the release notes as a known issue. The gate makes that choice openly so integrators receive an honest description of what they are getting.
The gate is where in-house and supplier blocks meet the same bar. For a supplier block the review confirms the delivery against the licence and the evaluation report, and records any claims raised with the supplier. For an in-house block it confirms that each discipline's evidence is complete and matches the released version.
