TFLN (Thin-Film Lithium Niobate)
A photonic platform using a sub-micron lithium niobate layer bonded to an oxide-on-silicon substrate, combining the material's strong Pockels effect with tight optical confinement.
It gives very high-bandwidth, low-loss, low-drive-voltage modulators.
