LTPS (Low-Temperature Polysilicon)
A display backplane technology in which amorphous silicon is laser crystallised into polysilicon, giving thin-film transistors mobility high enough to drive OLED pixels and to integrate gate drivers on the glass.
Uniformity across large panels is the limitation.

Notes
The hybrid LTPO backplane adds oxide transistors so a panel can drop to 1 Hz refresh for always-on displays.
