Cherry picking
Selecting the best-performing parts from a population to demonstrate, ship or benchmark, leaving the rest of the distribution unreported. It makes published results unreproducible, which is why reviewers insist on retail units rather than vendor-supplied samples.

Notes
Distinct from binning, which is disclosed and sold as such; cherry picking is undisclosed selection from a single grade.
