Directory / Workplace survey Workplace survey
An anonymous survey of verified current and recent employees, run by the Hub in waves. For each company it gives one band per dimension, with the number of respondents, the wave and the version of the questions.
How it works
- Only members with a verified work email at the company can take part, or former employees with a retained record of one who left within the declared period. One response per person per company per wave.
- Every question is answered by choosing from a fixed scale. There is no free text, and the questions never change during a wave. A change between waves is a new version that says what moved.
- The record that you took part and your answers are kept apart and cannot be joined. Your answers carry no account, no device details and no exact time. Because they cannot be linked back to you, they cannot be erased on request once submitted.
- A dimension is published only when enough verified people answered and the margin of error is narrow enough. Otherwise the company shows Not enough data, which is not a result about the company. Companies below a declared size are not surveyed.
- Band thresholds are published before a wave opens. Where the margin of error spans a threshold, the company is shown as a range of bands.
- Every result is reviewed by a person before it is published, published with a note, withheld or voided. Employer pressure and organised campaigns are both treated as defects.
- A result names its wave and shows as expired after the declared period.
- A company representative can add a reply shown beside the result, and can ask for a factual correction. No one can remove or soften a result.
These results are the views of the verified current and recent employees who chose to take part. They are not a measure of the whole workforce.
Looking for the best employers?
There is no list of best employers, no overall score and no ranking. Companies are never ordered by their workplace results, here or anywhere else on the Hub. Each company's results are on its own page in the directory, under Workplace survey.
